Our faith in Jesus is central to our lives.
Both of us were raised in the Church, and we currently attend the local church I (Sean) grew up in. It’s a small, non-denominational congregation of around 120 people. I’ve actually been employed by the church for 12 years as a pastoral assistant, but will be stepping down in 2023 due to taking on a full-time position at a company that sells software that helps people study the Bible. Both of us are heavily involved in the life of the church, and we serve in multiple ways. Eileen is on the worship team and I teach our adult Sunday School classes. We have volunteered in AWANA programs, Vacation Bible Schools (pictured above is us leading the “science-based” VBS SonSpark Labs), outreach ministries, and more.
Eileen was raised in an Episcopalian congregation where she learned to appreciate the beauty of the Lord, the community of His people, and the importance of keeping an eternal perspective in all of life’s circumstances. As I said above, I was raised in the church we currently attend, and I have been blessed with many good mentors, teachers, and godly saints who have helped guide me into the knowledge of the Lord and joy at all He has done for us in His Son Jesus Christ.
We are sinners saved by God’s grace, and we will do everything in our power to make sure that we raise our children in the knowledge and love of the Lord.
